Performance Review during the Probation Period: For full-time and part-time new hires, and staff transferring to a full-time or part-time role from a temp/per-diem position, an initial probation period is required [generally defined as three (3) months from date of hire for non-union staff].

Upon hire you have the option to contribute to the 401(k) plan offered by Northwell Health. Employer contribution is offered at 100% match up to 3% of salary, 2-year vesting. Employee contributions on a pre-tax and post-tax basis, up to annual IRS dollar limits.

The fee for jury service is $40 per day. Jurors who receive their salary during their entire jury service will not be paid by the state. The employer of a juror, who employees more than 10 people, must pay at least $40 per day for the first three days of jury service.
